AY KAI M OΠЄΛ CЄOYHP MAKPЄINOC CЄ Laureate and cuirassed bust of Macrinus to right, seen from behind. Rev. CTPA OΥAP ΦOIBOΥ KΥZIKHNΩN / NЄO-KOΡ Laureate and draped bust of Zeus Ammon, with ram's horn over his ear, on the left, facing laureate and draped bust of Zeus, on the right; below, lighted altar. RPC V.2 online ID 1076 corr. (reverse misdescribed). SNG Paris 791. Very rare. A beautiful coin with a spectacular provincial portrait of Macrinus. Slightly smoothed and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
